This show was by far one of the best runway experiences thus far! Let's begin with the weather, as we all know September can be a hit-or-miss month with all of the pop-up storms due to it being hurricane season. The weather was right around 75 degrees with not a cloud in the sky. All the guests (for the most part) arrived on time, ate, and grabbed their seats on the runway.
We started a tad bit after the schedule timing due to some unforeseen technical issues with the music but after that was cleared up, the collection made its debut. The guest gave rave reviews as each look took to the runway. The first set featured looks for a daytime 'slay', rather you're going into the office, running errands, or just a mom on the go, Courageous Creations Melanated Masterpieces included a variety of looks that would fit an array of lifestyles. I use real model women in each of my shows which gives variety, relatability, and a fresh take on fashion.
There were 3 teachers nominated by the community that received the 'Courageous Educator Award', a basket that contained items for the classroom as well as self-care and Amazon gift cards. They all spoke about their love for educating the next generation and how the public can help support them in this effort.
The 2nd set featured the nighttime looks, rather it was date night, girls' night out, a red carpet event, or just simply because you want to dress up and take pictures Courageous Creations has you covered!
