I know I say this all the time but this is by far my favorite collection! It was inspired by the darkness that we encountered globally surrounding the current Covid-19 pandemic and the hope of a brighter future. The mix of the black and white fabrics was like a breath of fresh air as I draped and drew out the inspiration God gave me in a vision. Many times I can only invasion one look and the subsequent creations play off of it. The first look I created in this collection was the black and white blouse accented with; what I called a neoprene shield and leather capris. It spoke to the need to shield one's self from the darkness surrounding our current world and to wrap our hearts with the light of Christ. I was able to envision the other looks based on this idea. The last look (all white/the dawn creation). was by far the hardest to create. I was torn between making this look a dress but after much deliberation, I decided on this 3 piece set. A leather half-peplum belt, stretch pointe open neck top with ruched sleeves, and wide-leg pants. I can't wait to see what sort of spin-off we can create for the spring-based off of this collection...it's going to be an adventure, to say the least!
